Two seasons
Bali's dry season and wet season
The dry season, April to October, brings sunny days, low humidity and ideal conditions for beaches, hiking and outdoor sightseeing.
The wet season, November to March, is hot and humid with short, heavy afternoon downpours — but also lush landscapes, fewer tourists and lower rates.
UAE school holidays
How they line up with Bali’s weather
| UAE school holiday | Bali season | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Winter break (mid-Dec – early Jan) | Wet season | Expect rain, but lower rates and fewer crowds |
| Spring break (late March) | End of wet season | Shoulder season: lush, with occasional rain |
| Summer break (early Jul – late Aug) | Dry season | Ideal weather; the most popular travel window |
Eid & Ramadan
Where Eid and Ramadan fall
Ramadan 2026 runs roughly mid-February to about 19 March; Eid al-Fitr 2026 falls around 20 March, at the tail end of the wet season — weather can still be unpredictable. Eid al-Adha 2026 falls around 27 May, right at the start of the dry season: better, more predictable weather.
In 2027, Eid al-Fitr falls around 10 March and Eid al-Adha around 17 May, following the same pattern. All dates are estimates subject to moon sighting — always confirm closer to travel.
Travelling during Ramadan is workable: halal food remains widely available, and many restaurants and hotels offer iftar arrangements, though those wanting guaranteed dry weather may prefer to travel after Ramadan ends.
